This 2 day outdoor events is held at the Madman's Gully Amphitheatre Mad Day Hills on the last weekend in January Gates will open from 4pm Friday with local artist entertain8am Saturday for a big day of music starting at 11.30am.

Easter - Golden Horseshoe Festival
The Beechworth Golden Horseshoe Festival is the biggest annual event on the calendar. These are plenty of activities to delight the whole family, including Music, Grand Parade and Golden Easter Egg Hunt.  There will be buskers, markets, a fun run and kids actives.

The event celebrates the history of Beechworth and a parade lead Daniel Cameron in 1855 on a horse shod with shoes made from pure gold to attend the gold fields first election. He won and became Ovens Goldfields Victorian Parliament Represented.

Bridge Road Brewers Tours Every Saturday


Tours operate every Saturday of the year at 11.00am and the cost is $15 per person which includes a 4 glass tasting paddle.

Drive back In Time
The event run by Beechworth Old Cranks Motor Club is traditional held on the first weekend in May and has grown to become one of the region’s most popular car shows and cruising events, attracting over 250 participants from around Victoria, as well as interstate.

The historic streets of Beechworth will have on display will be a range of rare, classic and vintage cars, motorcycles and trackers. The weekend kicks off 10:00am on Saturday with a tracker run and a barbecue at midday at the Old Railway Goods Shed in Beechworth, followed by a Street Cruise of display vehicles from 4:30pm.

On Sunday, visitors will be able to view the incredible array of pristine cars and motorbikes lined up either side of Ford Street in the Historic Precinct area of Beechworth which is closed to traffic as well as vintage engines displayed in the Police Paddocks. Gates open at 8am and entry is $5 for display vehicles and free for the public. Barbecue and drinks plus a fantastic raffle all day.

Beechworth Farmers Market - first Saturday of every month


Beechworth Farmers Market is held on the first Saturday of every month at Christ Church in Church Street, Beechworth.

The market offers a great variety of fresh and local produce, so come have a chat with some passionate growers and producers of the region.

Bridge Road Brewers Oktoberfest
Get your annual dose of Ohm-pah and sample world class beers at Bridge Road Brewers annual Oktoberfest.

The event is loosely based around the original Oktoberfest held in Munich in late September each year. Punters are encouraged to get out the Lederhosen or Dirndle (traditional Bavarian dress) and enjoy the festivities.
